1. Easter was a long time ago...but I haven't blogged since before...

3. The fact that our computer died is no excuse because that only resulted in 3 weeks down time.
4. I guess I should put this on my calendar?
Anyways, going way back when...let's see what Easter was all about. We enjoyed two family gatherings at Orange AND Yellow Papa's house. The easter bunny came to both and to out house, too! That crazy bunny is busy and knows how to spoil 2 girls!

Fast Forward...Fast Forward... I can't fit everything in.
This weekend, we enjoyed some of Dad's softball games in Albertville. He played at 8am on Saturday, but that's OK. We made the trek, and then got to play at the Carnival! Our first ride was the ferris Wheel. Jorey had a death grip on me the whole time, but she did enjoy it after she realized (on the 98th rotation) that she was safe. Macy loved it! She was flapping her wings like a bird and peeking over the side and just having a hay day. They gave us an extra long ride since there were only 7 kids there when we arrived. Then, we went down the super long, bumpy slide. They both giggled so hard on the way down, we had to do that a few times. Then, we were off to the motorcycles, where Jorey refused to ride in the back seat of the 3-seat hogs. Once in the driver's seat, she was happy as can be (even though she tried NOT to smile the whole time). Macy, of course was waving and wearing a huge smile all the way around, since she's never shy to be the happiest girl. If you're thinking pics would help with the visual, believe me...I know this. I didn't bring the camera. I figure we'll need to have a repeat at the Steele County fair to get a few, there. Our final rides were on the trucks and cars that go in circles. Ken said those rides were lame...and...I'd agree if they were not my most enjoyed ride as a kid because if you ride in front, you get to drive. So what if you are not steering. At that age, you feel like you are and it was so cool. The girls loved it and a couple of the carnies thought they were so cute that they gave them 2-for-1. How 'bout it!
Today, we opted out of the softball tournament and went to the park and the pool instead. Lifetime in Lakeville has a huge, zero-depth pool with water slides and everything. The girls and I went there and hung in the sun. About an hour after we got there, some kid dropped a brown shark into the pool and caused a massive evacuation to the indoor pool for 1.5 hours until they could be sure they sucked up every crumb. Oh, brother...pooh in the pool.

For a few of the funnies:
Macy told me this morning that there were robots that would eat me. Then, shared that if robots got me, they would take me to their house and show me scary things! ooh! Scary things? What kinds? --she wasn't sure, but just knew that they would. She also wasn't sure who told her that.
Jorey just likes to eat bluestrawberries. (aka blueberries)
peace out until next time. My goal is to update once/week. Yep - it's a lofty goal with one entry in 4 months...
